Move Mindfully and Be Well in Your Body
"I came to Regina after experiencing significant hip pain from a soccer injury that I had acquired a year and a half prior. I wanted to get healthy and be stronger, but the pain never went away. It prevented me from playing and it was also interfering with how I felt overall. Regina created a post-rehab program that balanced my body and moves out, and in about 8 months, I reached my goal of being able to play again! My life is pretty busy with a young family and a thriving business, so I need a pretty efficient workout that helps me stay energized and focused. Right now, we mostly do Pilates in our sessions together, and on my own, I do other types of exercises and routines that she curates to go with my running. I’ve found that the work I do with her helps me not only stay more centered, but it also helps me find control way beyond the exercises we do together, and into my daily life."

I am a long-tenured NASM Certified Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist, Pilates Instructor and Yoga Tune Up practitioner. This powerful and unique combination of knowledge and expertise provides you with training programs rich with integrated challenges to help you reach immediate and long-term fitness goals.
Your sessions are customized for your specific needs; however the foundation of my practice is deeply rooted in the traditional principles found in Pilates, once called Contrology. As a Senior Pilates Teacher and Mentor, I believe that Contrology is not only an incredibly efficient, effective and power-building movement practice, it's also a lifestyle approach that Joseph Pilates embraced in which the principles of control, breath, precision, coordination, centeredness and flow (of movement) are applied to reach life's goals.
"I've been practicing with Regina for nine years. A couple of years ago I had a shoulder injury and we also did specific corrective work outside of the (Pilates) method that focused on my specific shoulder issue. In no time at all, my shoulder was 100% and I then started to notice how much more I got out of the exercise by doing it more often. My range of motion, ability to isolate muscles and overall energy has increased and I've seen a substantial change in my body. Regina is by far the best that I've worked with and I would highly recommend her to any friends that are looking to start or continue a Pilates-based fitness routine."

Below are the procedures we will have in place as the studio reopens. We may add, change or rethink some of these as more information comes available regarding Covid 19 or any health risk.
The studio layout has changed to accommodate the social-distance requirement, that means, we will have 3 stations and clients will not be moving around the studio. There will be no more than 6 people in the studio at the same time - that means 3 clients and 3 teachers. During group classes there will be only 3 clients in the studio and one or two teachers. There are times during the day that the studio is very slow, so talk to your instructor, she/he will try to accommodate you as much as she/he can.
We will remain offering virtual classes.
Appointments will be staggered every 10 minutes. Please, we ask you to be patient and flexible and work with your teacher. You might not be able to come in at the time or day you had before the pandemic.
All clients will be asked to sign a Covid-19 disclosure form online prior to returning to the studio.
Clients will be asked to refrain from lingering in the studio and will wait in their car or outside until teacher texts/calls that she/he is ready to start your lesson.
Clients will be asked to wear a breathable mask into the studio. Instructors will be wearing masks at all times. We also encourage clients to wear socks in the studio, if clients prefer to workout barefoot, we will ask clients to wipe their feet down with disposable wipes.
We will be checking clients temperature upon arrival.
Clients will be asked to wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water upon entering the studio; and recommended to wash upon exit.
Hand Sanitizer will also be available throughout the studio.
All footwear should remain in the reception area of the studio. Please keep as many personal items in your home/car and do not bring them into the studio.
Clients will be encouraged to use the toilet at home prior to arriving at studio. We will have use of our (sanitized and clean) bathroom but encourage limited use including changing to workout clothing.
We are using disinfectant to clean the equipment as well as soap and water to wipe it off.
Sessions “In Studio” will be 50 minutes long to allow instructor to clean and disinfect equipment properly between clients. All surfaces, towels, etc. will be sanitized on a daily, weekly basis.
For now, we will keep our hands off of you to maintain social distance.

"Ideally, our muscles should obey our will. Reasonably, our will should not be dominated by the reflex actions of our muscles....The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit."
